Trainee Journalist, Presenter and Producer
Media Portfolio
A recent graduate in International Journalism (postgraduate) and previously Media Production (undergraduate). While studying for my postgraduate degree, I was able to produce and present my own podcast and radio show, which amassed close to 1000 people across social, I wrote for 3 different publications and presented on my universities own official student TV show. I have previous experience of representing 24,000 students at my university as a Vice President of Activities at the students union and increased clubs and societies membership by roughly three times throughout my tenure. I am an experienced trainee journalist with media skills now looking to work in a competitive and fast-paced environment where I can fully utilise all of the skills I have to offer and start a career in the journalism and media industry.
About Me
I have always had a passion for communicating with people, either through writing or on screen. I've had a range of professional jobs, including sales, digital marketing, students union work and hospitality. I have lots of hobbies and interests, but mainly I love to watch film and TV and am passionate about playing and watching sport, particularly rugby. I am currently located in Liverpool and hold a full clean driving license. I’m excited to build on the beginnings of my media career and I am extremely determined to be successful in this sector.

My Work
Presenter - The Guide Liverpool
As a Presenter at The Guide Liverpool, I am responsible for communicating on screen via interviews with various people and organisations around Liverpool. I constantly work with other Presenters and Producers to create high standard content for the viewer. I am also involved in interview script production as well.
The Buzz
The Buzz began as a weekly radio show, then it was developed into a recorded podcast. It has now moved on from that and it operates as a social media brand that incorporates, podcast recording, event promotion and broadcast (live and recorded) at events. I produce, present and organise all of this.
